LDL refers to “Low Density Lipoprotein”. LDL is a microscopic globule that made up of a rim of lipoprotein. The type that put your heart at risk is LDL. This is the way how it happens. Typically cholesterol comes from the foodstuff that we eat and from the liver. This collects in the walls of blood vessels. Normally it cannot be dissolve in blood; therefore proteins carry it to the place where it should go. These carriers are called “lipoproteins”.
High level of LDL cause,

- Eat food low in saturated fat
- Do regular Exercises

What is this HDL good cholesterol?
HDL refers to “High Density Lipoprotein”. HDL cholesterol functions against heart diseases. It collects all bad cholesterol from blood. High level of HDL reduces the risk of heart diseases. But low level increases the risk.

What is this Triglyceride?
This is the most common type of fat in the body. Store excess energy from our diet. The combination of high triglycerides with low level of HDL or high level of LDL increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Especially in women.
